Garden of Gentle Light

I painted “Garden of Gentle Light” to portray a sunlit garden path winding beneath tall trees and through beds of white, yellow, purple, and magenta flowers. Layered, expressive brushwork and a soft, restrained palette create dappled light and a gentle sense of depth. The small figure at an easel and the birdhouses add a gentle touch of interest. The composition balances detail in the foreground plantings with an airy, wooded background, inviting slow looking and quiet reflection. A peaceful, luminous mixed media work that would make a thoughtful addition to your living room, studio, or reading nook.
