Playing In The Forest presents a sunlit woodland where tall trunks rise from a warm ochre floor and a bright cluster of daffodils peeks from a nook at the bottom of a tree. Delicate pastel colored washes, layered texture and precise pencil marks convey the soft movement of light through new leaves and the hush of undergrowth. This mixed-media work balances quiet detail with airy color — greens, pale blues and soft apricot tones that feel both gentle and alive. I painted it as a memory of a small, playful moment in spring; it reminds me of the joy of that season. A luminous, inviting scene that would bring warmth and quiet energy to your space.
